| Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga massage is an ancient form of massage evolving from yoga philosophy. The purpose of this massage is to enable a free flow of energy in the body to bring about a feeling of well-being, vitality and balance. It helps to eliminate toxins and supports the immune system.
Applied through clothes on a futon mat the therapist uses thumbs, hands, feet and elbows to work along the main energy lines of the body. Gentle yoga based stretches also work the energy lines, and improve flexibility and suppleness.
This massage is adaptable for all ages and levels of fitness, and is especially recommended for those wishing to return to exercise or as a means to counterbalance daily stresses and strains. It is also an excellent treatment for those practising, or wishing to practice, yoga.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing – jogging trousers and T-shirt are ideal. Please also note that due to the nature of this massage, treatments are a minimum of 1.5 hours.
